Good morning folks. This morning, FL20 (D) Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz and DNC Chairwoman finally went on record regarding her continued support for her immigrant prison in Southwest Ranches and her refusal to remove her endorsement. Just listen to the spin she puts on it.
Folks, notice she said an advisory committee has been formed so we can have input into OUR prison? Notice how she mentioned the November 5th ICE meeting? Notice how she didn't tell you that of the 333 cards submitted there were only 7 in support of the prison?
Regarding the advisory committee, how many of YOU are on it? We know that none of us are on it. Debbie Wasserman Schultz is up for reelection (along will ALL of the House) in November.
Oh, if you think there's any sincerity to her, please read our blog posting of how it appears she took $1000 from CCA for the endorsement she speaks of. $1000 Endorsement
Read an analysis of her interview with Jimmy Cefalo.
Thanks again Debbie for your NON-SUPPORT! We will thank you back come time to vote you out.
ReplyDeleteNo idle threats. You need to start mobilizing your neighbors against Senator Bill Nelson for his refusal to remove his endorsement, Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz for her refusal to remove her endorsement and Mayor Jeff Nelson for his adamant refusal and for his continued propaganda statements that the majority of SW Ranches residents support this.
ReplyDeleteIf they support it so much, why did only FOUR SW ranches residents who supported the prison attend the ICE meeting on 11/5?
Debbie, with support like yours we don't need you. I hope it is reflected next November when you are voted out. It certainly will be with my vote!!!
ReplyDeleteHistorically local communities benefit very little when correctional facilities are built... Those employed there are not local folks necessarily as the "new" prison or detention center needs people with experience in the management of criminals or immigrants who are detained. The typical local employment is of the lower echelon types of jobs. Additionally very few "local" people possess the skills the institution will need therefore many of the new employees will come from other areas.
